Description
PowerStone Plus seals brick, block and poured concrete to reduce water penetration and prevent surface dusting and staining. It resists household cleaners, gasoline, oil and efflorescence to provide maximum protection to a large variety of surfaces. Apply it to both horizontal and vertical surfaces and use it on concrete, plaster, brick, slate and stucco. Clean metal surfaces of copper and aluminum can be finished with PowerStone Plus to prevent surface oxidation.
How to Use
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove all surface contaminants including grease, oil, rust, stains, dirt, dust, wax and mortar spatter. New concrete must cure for a minimum of 28 days prior to application of PowerStone Plus. PowerStone Plus is supplied at the proper consistency as packaged to be applied without thinning under normal environmental and application conditions.
APPLICATION TOOLS
- Brush: Synthetic, nylon or polyester bristle
- Roller: Synthetic fiber 3/8” nap or longer
- Spray: .017 to .019 tips
PRODUCT APPLICATION
Apply PowerStone Plus liberally, at full strength, working the material into the pores of the surface to ensure surface is fully coated. This product is formulated for use on porous surfaces. When applied to non-porous and/or high gloss surfaces running or dripping may occur.

- Smooth Surfaces: 250-300 sq. ft./gal.
- Porous Surfaces: 200-250 sq. ft./gal.
DRYING TIME
- @ 70°F 50% R.H
- To Touch: 1 hour
- Recoat: 2 hours
- CLEANUP
Clean up sealer spatters and equipment immediately after use with soapy water. Dispose of all waste according to all existing local, state, and federal regulations.
PRECAUTIONS
Store in a dry place at temperatures between 40°F (4.5°C) and 90°F (32°C). Do not mix with other coatings. Do not apply when air or surface temperatures are below 50° or apply to a damp surface. Not recommended as a sealer on glazed, quarry or other ceramic type tiles. Steel troweled concrete must be etched prior to application of PowerStone Plus to insure adhesion to the concrete. Smooth concrete with a curing membrane or hardener may require abrasion to obtain proper adhesion. When applying with a sprayer, wear a NIOSH approved respirator with any R, P, N or HE filter.
